The near-capacity audience at JCCC’s Polsky Theatre were treated to a rare presentation of Igor Stravinsky’s musical and theatrical work in the way he conceived it and first performed it almost 100 years ago.
In addition to a positive review at KCMetropolis, some of the audience comments included:
- “The first half was the wonderful artistry I always expect. The Histoire presentation was a terrific collaboration much enjoyed.”
- “It was an amazing concert with so many talented artists involved.”
- “The up close intimacy of dancer and musicians – so attentive and responsive. Like the best jazz.”
