Kirk is a creative consultant with over 30 years’ experience in brand design for corporate America. He has created makeovers and new identities for a “Who’s Who” client list of industry leaders including: Kraft Foods, Playtex; Mattel, Inc., Intel, Disney Consumer Products, Nestlé and Hallmark Cards where he served as a corporate spokesman for the company’s unique approach to emotion marketing.
Kirk is passionately devoted to the arts and is a former member of Friends of the Conservatory, UMKC, and a contributor to the Kansas City Ballet Guild as well as the Lyric Opera Kansas City His renaissance tendencies include fashion illustration, photography, and teaching. Kirk has recently completed a family memoir, “The Hero of the Galloping Horse,” that centers on the exploits of his parents in World War II.
He received the BFA degree from the University of Notre Dame and the Master of Science degree from Pratt Institute. His talents have garnered recognition from The Graphis Press, Women’s Wear Daily, Art Direction Magazine, Graphic Design USA; as well as a Clio nomination. He was a charter member of the Steuben Design Forum in New York City and is married to Ruth Davis, Lyric Soprano.
